Annalee looked at her. "Evil? But the forest is pure... I havent felt anything wrong at all..." She says and looks around. Her bow was hooked around her but now quiver of arrows. She walks around the oak tree Opal planted and runs her hand across its trunk. "Strange... I cant feel anything from this tree. Like.. Its not even living... But it looks so healthy..." She backs away slightly.

"Opal... You don't have to worry, I'll protect you with every last fiber of my being" I said as I pulled out my nunchucks and ran after Opal "Wait for me!"

"Austin it's after me I know what it want just run please!" I cry

I caught up to Opal "No! I won't let it take you, even if I have to die! Now get on my back and hold tight" I said as my body started to change

Annalee looks to the shadow and backs away a bit. "What are you?!" She says. "Why cant i sense anything? What are you doing to the girl and my forest home!?" She asks it. She needed answers.

I turn to face the shadow and take my sword out I swing at the shadow making it dissappear " it wants my swords" I say "the first sword is the holy sword the second one is the demon sword" I say

"I can't handle the holy sword it burns my hand my sword us the demon sword" I say I toss the old sword to Austin it glows "You can use this" I put my sword back

"Ok, we can't have that" I said as I changed into my were-fox form "Ok Opal, what do we do to stop it?" I asked

Annalee watches from a distance and then leaves running quickly not wanting to get involved in fighting.

"The shadows can't be stopped unless I give up my life for I am the protected of heaven And earth" I say "I need to protect the swords at a
ll costs if they break I die"

I Run off after annalee "it's ok the fighting is over" I yell

"I dont care! I dont want to be part of this!" She called back and continued running till she impacted a tree and hard which knocked her unconscious.

Picks her up and carries her to my house then gets some cold water

(Geez, you guys posted a lot in the half hour I was away... I'll post what I would've done in that time frame.)

"Wait... a vulpinthrope?" I asked, upon seeing Austin's transformation into a were-fox. With a small burst of courage, assured that at least one of these strangers would understand my condition, I let my lycanthropic features overtake my form, enlarging it into a muscular, bipedal wolf-like creature vaguely reminiscent of my human form, snarling in the direction which the shadow had retreated.

"Come on Brian" I said as I started running after Opal

When I look out the window I see a light so I go outside and follow it it leads me to a part of the forest I've never been before and I can't find my way back. "Great now I'm lost" I say "Well it's my fault for following it" I decide to keep on walking hopefully I'll run into some1. The sun sets and now it's dark

I was running around looking for Opal when I literally bumped into her "Oh! Hey Opal" I said with a blush "I was looking for you, why did you leave the house?"

"I saw a light so I went to look and I'm lost" I say looking around for the light "Well it's gone now"

"I'll take you back to my place for the night, its closer" I said as I picked up Opal, I was still in my fox form and I carried her back to my house "You can sleep in my bed if you want, the couch is hard and its the only bed, so we'd have to share"

"I will cook something before we go to sleep" I say tummy growling "You haven't gotten a chance to taste any of my food. I'm a really good cook"

"I can't wait to try your cooking" I said with a smile, my tail was wagging

When we get to the house I cook some rice "Here Austin" I say

((It's kinda awkward having my character bring this up after a few instantaneous scene changes, but I'll try.))

I followed them back to Opal's house, then Austin's house, not saying much as I'd tagged along, before I'd finally spoken. "Er... you guys are okay with this, right? I mean, with the teeth, and fur...? I mean, normally people aren't."

"I was your friend before and I am now. That's how it will stay" I say

"Same here Brian" I said before taking a bite of the rice "This is great Opal!" I said

My entire face perks up, as my tail begins to swish from side to side, wagging with happiness. "Well, um, I'm kinda new to all of this. Er, um... having friends, that is. So, um... I'm kinda not sure what er, that entails." I continued, looking downward awkwardly, while I rubbed the mane-like fluff that was on the back of my head.

"Wanna see something cool?" I ask

"Sure!" I said before seeing I was still in fox form "Should I change back to human?"

"Go cat form!" In a swirl of smoke in my place there's a black cat

I hugged Opal's cat form "I love it and you!" I said, I let go after I realized what I said "I'm s-sorry" I said before running outside, not too far away

"Meow?" I change back to human form "It's ok"

"No its not... I'm a monster... I was turned into what killed my parents..." I said as I looked at my fox paws

Not wanting to interfere with their romantic situation (as I'd figured from the way he'd bolted), I quickly made my way towards the family room's couch, figuring it'd be okay to sit there.

"Austin it's ok" I pat him on the head "You are not a monster"

"Austin if you say your a monster again I'll turn into a cat and scratch you ok" I say kinda mad at him for even saying that

"You really think so?" I asked

"Would I lie to you?" I ask "let's see if you guys can catch me " I say as I run off

I smiled as I ran after Opal "I'm gonna get you"

Hearing their words faintly with my sensitive ears, I decided to go outside, to see that the two were just barely in eyesight. Sighing, I ran off towards the two, my form changing to have a more quadupedal gait as I ran on all fours.

I run faster and then jump into a tree and jump from tree to tree then after awhile I drop from a tree and run into a rock "Owie" I say

"Opal!" I said as I ran over and picked her up "Are you ok?" I asked

"Yes" I look up to see the big rock with something carved on it in another language "look at the rock" I say

I looked at the rock "What is this?" I asked

"I can translate some of it" "it says To the ....you found me.....you shall die....." I read off the rock "this must be someone's idea of a joke. Right?" I say with worried eyes

"Well... if it's written in stone, it's probably been there for a while, and isn't meant for us... I wouldn't worry, but we should be wary all the same." I say, as I look around the area.

"Shadows and now this what does it mean" I mumble to myself. After thinking I come to this conclusion "the message is for me" "someone or something is after me"

"We should get out of here" I said

"I'm going to explore if you want me to go back your going to have to drag me" I say stubbornly

"Er... he does have a point... if I believed that thing, and it sounds that threatening, I'd hightail it out of here, myself..." I said, a bit of worry evident in my eyes.
