Here's somewhat my concern...

What happens when a Variant Villain like "Outlaw Brawl & Chain" faces a "Brawl & Chain" & defeats him?

Of course one can use the same trap that holds "Brawl & Chain", but what happens to "Outlaw Brawl & Chain" after the switch? Will he be available to switch at the Villain Vault?

I never played Trap Team to find out & I'm not sure the Villain Vault can hold Variant Villains...

Can someone here make an unedited in-game video of switching a regular villain with its variant and then switch back again?

Variants are tied to the Trap

You can't trap normal Brawl and Chain in an Outlaw Brawl and Chain trap

You'd just get Outlaw Brawl and Chain
