Yes, another speculation thread. We know there will be a final big battle against Kaos...there always is. We know that Kaos has his own vehicle, the Doomstation (or whatever it's called) We also know that a land vehicle is required to complete the game. My first thought is that there will be sections of the game before the final battle that are not optional. However, maybe that's not all, perhaps the final battle involves a land vehicle as well?

The more I think of this, the more I think it's likely. We have seen vehicle battles already, so we know it's in the game. I don't think the entire battle will be vehicle as it wouldn't fit the usual pattern and could bother many players. The final boss battle has always had part attack Kaos directly (with him having huge health), part Kaos attacking you directly with doom sharks or something similar (basically avoid attacks for awhile), and part summoned baddies to fight. I think we'll still see all three of these, but also see an additional part where we have to battle in land vehicles. Perhaps will have to give the doomstation chase, perhaps we'll have to chase the doomstation. Perhaps it won't be the doomstation, but baddies in vehicles. Perhaps it will be some stationary target, or perhaps it's just to get to another location to battle on foot.

It'll be probably multiphase with land and on-foot sections. We know that the bosses can get up to 5 phases now, so they could go crazy is they so wished to.

I hope its a multi choice.
On foot then a section with 3 rift gates
And you choose how you do the final battle,
Land sea or sky
Though I fail to see how it would be done with sea

I would love the possibility to choose how to fight him (not only platform/vehicles but also which terrain type) it would also make want to replay the level even more.

No gimmick has been required to defeat the final boss, so far, but no game required a gimmick figure to be completed either, soooo... I think it's safe to say land vehicles will al least play some role in the final battle.
