That time an old guy thought Avatari was 15 [CLOSED]

My friends and I were at one of the gift shops at Epcot enjoying the air conditioning, and we started talking to this guy and I guess his girlfriend I dunno who she was. Anyway, we were chatting and we somehow got on the subject of our ages, and my friend was like, "Just out of curiosity, how old do you think we look?" And the guy said that I looked to be about 17 or 18 and my friends looked a year or two younger than that. Then suddenly this old guy from across the room shouted, "You all look 15!" And then he asked our real ages and we told him and he looked shocked.

True story~

Yeah it's kind of weird how we age physically.

I mean I'm over here being 17 and a few people who have heard my voice would think that I'm 12-15. Heck some people thought I was in 8th grade. And the 8 graders around here are itty bitty, like they are in 5th grade.

I've had people think I'm 15 too. It's annoying now, but I'm sure I'll appreciate looking younger someday lol.

well i guess it's better to look younger than your age rather than older, because when your're 30 you will still look 25 lol

Because of my slightly above average height stature I have been blessed with the curse of always being considered older than my own real age. When I hit the puberty and my voice changed I have always considered to be in my young adulthood years age-wise by other people since I was 13 – 15 years old.

This will mostly not surprise you but I thought that you were in your early twenties! smilie But I think that it tells a story about your mental maturity which is actually a compliment of good nature, right?

But to the original subject of the topic, I have a little semi (or quarter) fun story. In the times when I still had long hair, a local drunk in mall thought I was a girl and found me attractive. It was quite weird since I already was about 6’4” or plus and was overweight and whatnot. I think that was the moment when my looks were flattered the most in the entire time of my existence. Of course I ran away and laughed at the surreal situation but I guess that is the twisted thing that poorly distilled alcohol products do to human brains.

I'm 23 and people still sometimes mistake me for 16. Not quite as much anymore though...
