Not surprising. I don't think anyone would believe Skylanders would help them with their production. Now, they're likely making the Amiibolanders because they're technically Skylanders though.

So I guess we'll be settling for Bowser and DK only. I would've love to have Yoshi joining the Skylanders SuperChargers, too.

I think they only go with creatures that have never been used before.

DK is an ape, which is different to Fling Kong who is a monkey.
Bowser is a Koopa which doesn't exist in Skylands.

Yoshi is a dinosaur which was covered with Chopper and Dino Rang, plus his signature attack is too close to Wrecking ball.

Mario and Luigi are human so they're not very likely to appear since they use Mythological creatures mainly.

Toad would overshadow Shroom Boom.
