Could be Miiverse integration. The Wii does lack the Miiverse stuff.

Wii also has the connection to Nintendo WFC and that was shut down, so there's no way they'd start it up for that version.

Sorta. Here in the states, Trap Team came with a Spyro's Adventure/Giants-style 3DS portal - only SWAP Force came with the SWAP Force portal here.

3ds Internet is very slow, but at least we get online!

Yeah, I don't think anything says that the 3DS version *requires* online play. Just that it is there, as an option.

The online servers for the Wii have been down for a while. I'm guessing the 3DS has online races, but the Wii doesn't because of the lack of servers.

If it's anything like Trap Team the online will only be available for 3-4 months and then no one gets online with it and then it becomes frustrating.

Actually using the Internet browser is slow. I've played Pokemon and Monster Hunter (which is a intensively graphical game) and rarely had a hiccup in playing.

There's probably offline PVP racing on Wii to make up for that, so that each of the games have MP, but in different formats.

Trap Team 3DS Starter Pack also has "Online Interactions Not Rated by the ESRB."
This was used mainly for Street Pass and SkyStones I believe.
I hope the "online interactions" is more than STT 3DS.

Online races would be cool. The box also has the amiibo logo in the corner. I wonder what that's for.

If it's racing only on the Wii i'm not going to be happy.

-We know that Bowser and DK are the only amiibo/skylanders
-On the 3DS box, and the Wii U box there is the amiibo logo
-Nintendo said they had more to show

What if the Nintendo games have full amiibo support? As in, what if you tap your link amiibo and it unlocks a Link Hat? Tap a Mario amiibo, and you get a Mario hat?

Well the amiibo logo is only on the 3DS version, so I would assume that it is something that only applies to racing. As for what that might be, I have no clue.

Well the amiibo logo is only on the 3DS version, so I would assume that it is something that only applies to racing. As for what that might be, I have no clue.

Oh sorry, I didn't look fully at the Wii U version, only the 3DS. But I guess the Wii U still has amiibo on it (I know its referring to donkey kong). Maybe it is only for 3DS, and maybe its not hats, maybe its decals you can put on your racers or something

If someone could enhance the picture of the poster, we might see that the two Skymiibos are t the bottom of the poster

The DK/Bowser Figures are amiibo and skylanders you rotate the base and it's a skylander rotate it back it's an Amiibo. If there is support for other amiibo I would guess skystones.

I don't think they count as one of the 20 skylanders... Neither the vehicles.
