Most of you didn't realize this, but we know two more characters than you think you do. Do you know how I know this? It's because I spent a lot of time focusing on this topic and I'm really exited for this to happen, and it has been confirmed that this topic is returning with some of the pictures showing the symbols, and Lou Studdart saying that they are in the game. Did you guess it yet? It is light and dark! (You probably saw it in the topic title but whatever) Since gimmicks like trap masters won't be returning, and there is one re-imagined character per element, this means that Spotlight and Blackout will be returning! I'm super exited for this to happen and I can't wait for more info!

We discussed this a ton in other topics already, it's not news.

Not confirmed actually. Some sources say there will only be 8 returning figures, which means that 2 elements (Light and dark most likely) will not have reposes.

most likely confirmed though. I think Lou said one returning skylander per element, I would have to double check on that but it's too much work

It doesn't matter if you're Red Sparx or Platinum Sparx, anyone who's willing to post on a forum can just see other topics in the same page for existing discussion. Mistakes are normal,just don't get mad if someone points it out ._.

I'm personally going with the 8 repose theory.

Even if Spotlight and Blackout don't return as SuperChargers, I'll be cool with whatever new Light and Dark characters they'll come up with.

...By doing so? There's no newbie prejudice when they've been Skylanders for over 5 years in canon, they were just stranded in the Light and Dark Realms.

Actually there was a comic strip you got at GameStop for going to Skylanders Day back in January that said that Loght and Dark have always existed. So they have technically been in the Cannon for an infinite amount of years.

Did he say all 10? Maybe "all elements" refers to the 8 in the logo. Kind of like how minis are not quite full characters, light and dark are not quite full elements.

Not just the comics,the backstory for all of them as well. They were always kinda rare,but all four were around util the Core of Light was destroyed, and they were stranded in the Light and Dark Realms until Kaos blowing stuff up unsealed them.

The poster looks like only 8 reposes. The thing that gets weird is that some of the guys keep saying 20 vehicles and 20 Superchargers. Poster looks like 18 of each.

18 makes more sense. There are 3 types of vehicles. 18 is divisible by 3 and 20 is not

It's confirmed to be 20/20 split

Therefor if you do the math you would know this already >.<

10 new designs (Spitfire/Diveclops/etc)
10 Remakes (Super Shot SE and friends)

and 20 vehicles so each supercharger gets one each.

Look, just because one source said it doesn't mean everyone who doesn't take it is wrong. As I said, in one of the interviews they brought up 8 reposes instead of 10. Which is why it's not confirmed yet.

I saw 2 sources (different youtube channels) that confirmed it as a 20 20 split. This is literally confirmed info and you shouldn't guess "hey maybe there is more?" because NO THERE ISNT. Do the math and not try to decipher an extremely blurry image

Wow, you're not being very nice over who's using the posters as reference.

It's not confirmed if there is conflict. If they show up on E3 and say the number, I'll take that as the confirmed one. As I said before, give me the benefit of the doubt,will ya.

Yeah just like last year when they said over 60 new Skylanders and there were only 57. Or maybe it was 55 and 53 either way, they told us wrong. Plus there are clearly 18 vehicle and character pairings on the poster and there are 10 additional blurs in the middle. Stop being so rude and wake up to the fact that we have absolutly no way of knowing either way.

Not to mention the website and other official sources said 16 trap masters and 18 new cores. Even after the release of the expansion packs.

...No,it's like you took a blurry picture of the poster AND someone saying 8 reposes and supposed, 'there might be only 8 reposes and 12 new guys,we'll see'. Stop being so defensive over it.

well light and dark be in super chargers? yes. will there be repros of spotlight and blackout? 50/50. no strong info leaning one way or the other just random guessing. we will have to wait and see.

I'm honestly not even convinced, for sure, that there will be any supercharged light/dark figures or vehicles. Saying that they are 'in the game' could mean that you can play as your light/dark characters from trap team. It means that that VV isn't going to pretend light and dark don't exist...that's all it says for sure. I think there will be new characters, but I don't think there is any real confirmation till we see a light or dark figure/vehicle in a pic.

Personally, I'd like to see I don't want to see SC versions of Blackout and Spotlight. I'd rather get two new of each for this run. They could easily make that exception to the 'rule' and help to catch up on the figure count.

From what we could see on the poster, the only thing remotely "confirmed" is that there are 10 colored sections.

So I think it's pretty safe to assume we will get at least 2 Light and Dark vehicles and 2 SuperChargers, still don't know if revamps of Blackout and Spotlight or brand new.

According to that poster (which, admittedly, is very difficult to make out). It looks like there are two elements that have less figures than the others. If I'm seeing it correctly, it looks like there is only one figure for light and one for dark. I'm assuming those will be the new Super Chargers. It really wouldn't surprise me that they give us an extra figure in a couple of the other elements. Or they were just wrong about the 20 figures, and it's only 18. We'll just have to wait and see.
