I didn't expect Skylanders SuperChargers to come this early this year, so I'm saving up now. Who else is starting to save up now?

I'll be waiting for E3 to decide. It's between this and other games,so I'd rather be VERY sure I actually want it this year and not just wait a few more months and get it loose for cheap.

I'm thinking about getting the digital version since I don't care about vehicles toys and I already own three portals, but it depends how much it's gonna cost (40-50 euros would be sweet). Other than that I will probably do as Bifrost and consider get it loose/second hand.

I want to get the ps4 as well ( I own a ps3 right now) and other games like Elder Scrolls Online and Witcher 3, so my budget is quite tight. Superchargers, probably, won't be my favourite of the series (I'll have to wait though), but still, I love the franchise and one way or the other I will finally get my hands on it.

I'm starting to save. But only for figures. I already pre-ordered the starter pack on Amazon.

I think that what he meant, is that he's going to wait for the additional info (videos, gameplay, press releases, demos, etc) which will be released at E3 in order to decide. You will be able to follow this information throught a lot of game sites as well (IGN has a pretty good coverage for instance).

Yeah, I'll be waiting for the E3 info, I don't even live in the US to start consider going there, and I'm also not press. With all the livestreams and the coverage from sites I trust+ the guys from DS who are going, we'll at least have a good idea of what the game wants to be.

I'm saving up and my B-day is coming up so I'm asking for money.

My b-day is coming up, I ordered superchargers. I have 200$ ready for wave 1. Would that be enough for wave 1 and 3ds version?

I guess you'd get about 5-6 characters + 3DS game, so I think that would be enough for wave 1 (estimating at 16$+tax/figure (20$)) so maybe even have a few buck loose for reposes/wave 2.

I'll get the figures and vehicles first, have a play around with them, then buy the starter pack when it's on sale

This and Batman Arkham Knight are my two biggies, along with other already release XBO / PS4 titles. The more I play my next gen the worse my beloved PS3 looks. Sigh.

If the "online" feature that has been leaked are "innovative" like a game producer said to Coin-op TV, I'll buy it on day one. Or else I'm waiting for chrismas sales.

Better wait for the Gamescom in August.

I think it wil be the same as every year. With every game we have almost the same questions - how many levels, lightcores, reposes, waves, bonus content, adventure packs, battle packs (or in this year race tracks?), etc. - but none or only a fery few of our questions will be answered and like the other games we must find all of them out by ourselves. Or rather our great community .

Nah, the game comes out in Europe the day I get my money, so I will just buy it.

I'm saving my money from allowance, Birthday cash, my summer job and my current cash to get all the figures on launch. I will also try to get a $20 Charizard Amiibo on EBay between now and SSC's launch date.

This game is becoming ridiculously expensive for those willing to collect em all, but up until now, I don't think that many people who got em all for series 1 or 2 have everything from 3 and 4.
However, just in case, I have 666 (no lie) bucks left to spend for this.

Well, I did some calculations:
I am buying ALL figures (excluding if any existing variants) and the Starter Pack (still deciding on whether to get the Digital Pack),
Starter Pack: $75
Figures: $13 x 20
Vehicles: $15 x 20

Total: $635
Whole series fit into my wallet easily! If I were to buy the Digital Owners Pack it would be $585

I am going to hold out for sales. It has worked wonders for TT so far. I have only spent $360-something and have total access to almost everything. Just left picking up the last few cores when I can. -curse you, Trail Blazer! You shall be mine!- And Trap Masters when I feel those completionist urges.
So, I might start saving around November. Sounds like we will only need half(if that) the total characters to complete the game, as far as I can presume. I will probably hold off and just spend the $300-or-whatever in one binge then play through at my leisure, and not worry about waiting for another wave to release something vital to the gameplay experience.
Hopefully, E3 will share enough insight to help me decide how much I am going to commit to this game.

I've got $162. If I were to buy two vehicles and two Superchargers, it would be around $131. I would have $31 left, and around $131 by the time Disney Infinity 3.0 comes out. Meaning I could get it and a Play Set or two. So as long as I don't buy anything for a long time, I'll be okay. Then I'll be able to get a new phone for Christmas since those are cleared a way. And I could really not give less of a crap about Lego Dimensions.

Waiting till E3 to decide.. but it looks pretty cool so far, don't know if I'll have enough money for all of it though.. :/

I guess I will do what I always do and just buy the Wave 1 figures at launch and wait until Black Friday for the Starter Pack when it's like 39.99 at Best Buy, plus my gamers discount which would bring it to 31.99. And most of the time there are great sales for Wave 1 at Toys r Us so I'm hoping for the same this year.

well, then again, we can get lucky and get a good condition used character and just reset it if it's leveled up. I did that combined with sales for SF, and I have saved quite alot. I bought about 15 used figures (swap and core), each for about 7 bucks, and my game was from Black Friday, for 40-50 bucks.
Chances are I'm just gonna do a similar thing for this game

Yeah it's the same for me. Personally, I would love this game if it was a skylander's version of Mario Kart, but it still is more the classic RPG, and vehicles are just faster ways to move around, with little races and stuff scattered around.

I may just skip this one. I've given them enough cash already. Not diggin the racing gimnick. Will wait a while and see.
