Wii U or Xbox One?

I have the dark edition of TT for both the Wii U and the Xbox One. I have been collecting the figures and traps and I'm ready to start playing. Which do you recommend and why? I chose the Wii U version for Swap Force, but found that I never use the controller only option to play and the use of the gamepad for figure stats did not blow me away. Any opinions? Thanks.

The Xbox One version is sharper but the Wii U version has something fun in the gamepad.

I was skeptical as to the big difference between WiiU and XBox One, but the difference is HUGE. I put both on the same TV on different inputs and flipping back in forth there is really a WOW factor. A lot less blurry. I think it pretty much sold TakeYourLemons on upgrading.

I love our WiiU, but there really is a big difference in Skylanders (TT and SF).
