Yay, the mutant Chompies are back! ...Hurrah!

Still no idea why insist on it. If they were scary for the kids, having one playable as a villain should've knocked TT's audience reaction way to the negative, but parents hardly had a problem with the themes. Just let us have slug/dog-like killing machines with the mouth of a shark, rubber duck chompies look like they'd go extinct in the next decade because they seem incapable of eating,let alone harming people too much. Same for giant chin Trolls; no one is getting fooled they're good guys just because their only evil-y feature in TFB games are wrinkles and giant pointy noses.

I love every design from swap force better (it looked more alive and stuff) so i'm happy that the Chompies look cute again

But they've always been cute. Creepy cute, but adorable with the dog noises and how they just flap their claws around.
(and I really want to know who in the design team thought that giving them stalk-shaped eyes would make them cuter. No, if you try to think about how that must work, it's pretty gross.At least the TFB eyes end where they should)

Its just something cartoon-ish

It's not automatically good. Both are cartoonish, because there's no way you could stick a shark's dentures into a puppy-sized thing and expect it to walk on two feet.

They not only have Mr. Krabs eyes they are also not a true threat.

TfB chompies are fast, aggressive and they even attach to your character at times.
V.V.'s are slower, have more predictable attacks and always move like they were made out of rubber.

They are too goofy and cartoony to actually be considered dangerous.

I still like the VV Chompy design better. I was actually disappointed when they went back to the original design in Trap Team.

Well if VV will stick to their things without a good reason, TFB is going to do the same.

I guess each team wants their games to reflect their style.
Trolls are also back to their SWAP Force design; I prefer TfB ones but I don't dislike them.
They are just different not truly worse or better.

I think they should decide a style for everything and stick to it but it's probably not gonna happen.

I prefer the TFB designs of the Chompies (and Trolls) more than the VV designs.

It's cool how each developer has it's own distinct style for their games, though.
