Collection is Easier?

According to Skylanders Character List, there is going to be 20 Supercharger figures and 20 vehicles, four figures for each element. I'm thinking "Jesus, that's like the second smallest number of figures for a skylanders game". I think I'm going to try and get them all!

Full figure collection appears to be easier. Who else is going to try and get them all?

I probably will. The traps have discouraged me from doing so in TT, but I may end up getting them anyway...

It comes as a welcome relief for me. I'm practically spent chasing after Trap Masters as it is.

At least I already know that I want most of them. The only ones I could pass for now are Trigger Happy, Jet-Vac, and the Goat Girl, and even those are still ok, not horrible...

Sticking to my guns. 1 new gimmick lander per element (no reposes either) and 1 vehicle per element, the ones that match the skylanders I get. Which I don't have a chouse in as there are only 1 new character per element. Oh well, so far I really like most of them.

Considering that only 10 characters out of those 20 listed are actually brand new, that's what I'm getting.

Still unsure about vehicles... They are growing on me, but I'll probably initially stick with Hot Streak, a sea vehicle and a sky one.
Will most likely buy at least the respective vehicles for the new Skylanders.

Hopefully, I will choose whichever SuperCharger figures and vehicles I desire more instead of getting every single thing.

If there are only 40 figures I'd be happy. But there likely will be more.

12, possibly, since it seems Light and Dark will only have new characters.

It would be somewhat ironic if they discontinued the Target exclusive "Nitro" versions now that they are releasing vehicles for which it would provide an apt description (e.g. a dragster).

No doubt right. Of all the Nitro releases, this time it makes the most since.

Depending on expansion packs/magic items and not including variants, this is literally the least amount of toys to buy.

Not counting variants, SSA had 32 characters, 5 location pieces, 8 magic items and 4 sidekicks - 49 total. Only 40 items here. Granted, the cost is more, but it's much more manageable than TT's insane amount of stuff to buy.

I wouldn't be surprised if the low toy character count is because they want to try selling a bunch of DLC characters and vehicles online, via the gaming console...

Something is going to happen... (I HOPE NOT)

we know there is special powers released when you combine the right figurine and vehicle. also there is different upgrades that can be unlocked. plus we have portal master rank back in the game. but i am sure they have more up their sleeve to make you want to collect them all... they could also just release less but set the price higher, so you end up paying more. it will be interesting to see what happen.

Too many toys burnt out fans and now with DI 3.0 Lego.D and Amiibo they need to complete overload one franchise with figures to collect and people will jump ship.

I hope not since one of the reasons I like Skylanders is the figures.

Surprising isn't it?
Liking figures in a TtL game... How unexpected...

Seriously though I'm confident they still have unannonounced characters to show.
The poster on the side of the Starter Pack looks suspicious.

37 characters total. A ton of people during SSA have Dark Spyro.
