Yesterday they pushed a huge update that gave you new maps, Ranked Battles (Level 10 and up, goddangit why), and a new gamemode. Plus Story Mode is pretty fun and has a lot of content. The score could update.

Pokemon is not ****ing worth the time. Its been the same **** since 1997 with the exception of the poorly designed mechanic called mega evolutions. The plot may be edgy now, but the it sure doesn't make it fun.

Source: been playing Pokemon since Red, silver was the peak, expected new and exciting changes with ruby...ended up being bored from ruby, hated platinum, black was same **** but attempted a story but was somehow worse than platinum, x and y were the worst in the series.

Nothing new has been done to the series other than the piss poor execution of megas and balance and stat changes introduced in platinum. None of that was done to make the game play any different.

There's like 100 new pokemon in each game. ****ing Christ, come up with some balance changes and change the core game to be exciting again. Keep it pokemon, but make it exciting again. Don't create more creatures to catch.

Who can even name all the pokemon anymore? It was hardly manageable after ruby.

Tbh though, it's all a matter of opinion.
