So Lego has announced and released a game called "Lego Worlds". It's their answer to Minecraft and I love the game. You can purchase it on Steam for 15 dollars today.

This game combines Minecraft, Roblox, and Blockland (A cheap lego game before Minecraft) and makes it a lot more cooler. Seeing how I'm highly obsessed with Minecraft, and looking at the trailer, I see there are some things this game can do that Minecraft can't, like sculpt land. With the massive projects I did in Minecraft, I could rebuild them in a Lego fashion that is highly detailed. Also, seeing how they will introduce other lego sets to the game, I hope they will include Star Wars, Lego Movie, etc like in LEGO Dimensions. Speaking of which, I prefer this over Dimensions because Dimensions is too damn expensive, like about $100 CAD. This is only $17 CAD (CAD pricing is 1.2 times more than USD)

Will buy this soon and get into Early Access. Right now I have a Trap Team collection to deal with...

Looks really cool, like a mix between Minecraft, LittleBigPlanet, and LEGO.

I couldn't resist buying this game. I bought it an hour ago and played my first hour on this game. I wrote a review on my first hour, this was copypasta:

So I played my first hour of this game after finding out this is just like Minecraft, but with things Minecraft can't do. I think this game looks amazing as if it was a whole new Minecraft game, but with nothing but lego. In fact, this combines the elements of not only Minecraft, but Roblox, Blockland, Disney Infinity, and Digital Designer as well.

The landscapes look more unique and advanced than Minecraft. It's all lego so it's really interesting, just like the Lego Movie. I also notice the characters you can find in this game are from the Minifigures series. The biomes are nice because there is a brief cutscene showing your discovery of a new region of your world. Another thing about landscapes, unlike Minecraft, you can sculpt the terrain which is a heck of a lot faster than Minecraft.

I haven't wound up building anything yet, seeing how I don't see much of a selection of bricks and pieces, which is reasonable since Early Access started today. I am going to take a guess that it will be much much wider once the game is released. I would like to try rebuilding real life building sets if this game is updated enough.

Other than the brick selection, here is a list of what else I would like to see in future updates:

- Workshop, so people can share building sets and other goodies
- New world types similar to "Superflat" and "Large Biomes" in Minecraft
- Building sets from other brands like Star Wars and Lego Movie
- Online play and minigames like the ones you see in online games
- More sophisticated terrain editing
- Custom-built vehicles, I would like to build Benny's Spaceship and fly it
- Custom decals for bricks, like stickers that come with building sets

10/10 for a Day 1 Early Access game. I loved it. Any of the above ideas for future versions would be great. Will make another review about the full game when it comes out.

Glad you liked it. And in response to your question, nope. I purchased it right when I heard abou it. It's fantastic.

Another thing I forgot to put in. I'm going to prefer this over LEGO Dimensions. The reason is because the starter pack of Dimensions is literally the price of the Benny's Spaceship building set. I'll still admire the story and levels of Dimensions, love that Portal 2 theme.
