I think that this is great as it means that the wii version will not hold back the other consoles and it will actually give me the incentive to buy the wii version in addition to the PS4 & 3ds versions (that's presuming that the difference is substantial - different stages/ story?).

I totally agree, the Wii versions were pretty darn bad, but this makes me want to buy both the PS3 and the Wii version.

if it will be a different game like the 3ds it for sure will be interesting.. if its just gonna be a very cut back version of the game then not.

The wii version should be same as the 3ds but on the wii. Because not everyone has or want to play with a 3DS.

That would be cool. As I play on the wii and also have a wii u will be great to have 2 different adventures! Would last the whole year the way I'm going. I haven't even beaten trap team because I wanted with the hunting and levels to go slow and now I'm only on Level 12. Once superchargers gets revealed I'll finish trap team.

Wow, this was a really good compromise to the dead console thing. The 3DS is almost at the same level, so having the same game as that is a really good idea. As long as the downgrade/upgrade on graphics doesn't get too weird, like in Xenoblade Chronicles 3D, which would make people buy mostly a single version since the 3DS isn't exclusive anymore.

This might backfire a little. Notice the comments? A lot of people are like "Hey, now I'll buy the Wii version alongside the other version." It'd be funny if the Wii version of Sky5 became the best selling SKU of the game.

It utterly surprises me Acti is STILL continuing to put out games on a nearly 10 year old system, but if it's going to be the same as 3DS this time, then I at least give them credit for doing that instead of trying to fit the whole console game onto it.

Who knows, maybe we'll get online play this time around now that the Wii isn't holding us back smilie

This is actually genius. If the Wii game is unique, then I'll probably buy both the PS4 and Wii games...and the 3DS one too since I'm the rare fan who likes every 3DS game enough to buy them (except SSA).

Bah. The real question is will the primary version be PS3/360/Wii U or PS4/Xbone/Wii U? The so-called current "gen" is not seeing a lot of new games right now, so it wouldn't surprise me if the PS4 and Xbone versions are just ports. <.<

I think you are all reading too deep in what was in the description.

They probably want to avoid the massive disappointment that happened with the Wii version of SWAP Force and say loud and clear that it won't have the same amount of content the other versions have.

I hope to be wrong but that's what I think.
I also sincerely hope this time Beenox will only take care of the 3DS version.
