Hopefully they don't make any mistakes like the ending of Part 1. I mean, come on- Prezzy Snow nearly ruining his plan just to gloat was stupid. And it overrode one of the best parts of the book!

It really was. But after Francis Lawrence took over as director the movies have been magical. He actually made the boring ass book of Mockingjay interesting on screen

I didn't say he ruined it, but that he almost ruined it. He gave away that it was a trap before the trap was set off. It also opened up the plothole of "Hey, this evil dude just pretty much up and gave us these really important political prisoners that we know he's been torturing. You know what we should do? Leave the figurehead of our resistance alone in a room with one of them!" At least in the book, they didn't know until Peeta attacked Katniss.

And the part I'm talking about was Finnick talking about his experiences being prostituted off after winning his Games. It gave him so much character development.

I suppose that can be true as in the movie, Gale expresses how it was strange that power was back on and they still slipped past the turrets. Although, they also knocked him out with gas in the movie so how were they to know Peeta was hijacked which is an incredibly rare and old form of torture.

They touch on that a little but not a lot so i kinda have to agree with you there. Although, I wanted to see the underwear scene and i'm upset i didn't.
