I'm just thinking out loud here, but don't you think it would be a good idea for activision to make an animated series about the skylanders back story's. I mean their is just so many of them. I can think of heaps of bios that would be awesome.

I would love for them to have one but I thought activision said they were not gonna make one sadly.

They said they're thinking about it, but a small series wouldn't be enough for every character. Even if Acti didn't give up on that it'd be a long time until it surfaced.

I think an animated Skylanders series would be cool if they put effort into it and didn't just make it a way to advertise the games and toys.

I series where the first "act" is a flashback giving the backstory of one of the Skylanders and the second/third acts is one on-going group adventure would be interesting.

A quick sorting of my spreadsheet, there's 139 different base characters (not counting alt-decos, variants, whatever). This wouldn't go well for the series, as, at most, we'd see something like 26 episodes a year - and, ideally, every year, they're going to have a new game that introduces another 30+ characters, we'll never come close to getting through them all. ;)
