ACIII was okay
ACII, AC:B, and ACIV:BF are where it's at
Hopefully Syndicate will be great too

Honestly I'm 3 hours into III and I'm enjoying it more than Ezio's adventures. Ezio was fun and all but really I'm loving the new controls (though still getting used to the change) and better graphics (though they make issues such as clothing clipping through other clothing that much more glaring).

Well of course, it's graphically way better, same with controls.
Ubisoft tends to refine things pretty well with each engine.

I just liked Ezio as a protag better than I liked Connor, but I'm still a pretty big Connor fan.

I want to like this series but i cant forgive them for literally destroying their storyline and five years of character devlopment by killing a character who literally could have lived through the blue arm fan theory

I played about 10 hours of AC 3 then I got bored (it got a bit repetitive), so I have never finished it.

AC 4 was fantastic! Definitely my favourite AC by far.

Everyone hated AC Unity but I actually really enjoyed it, not as much as AC 4 but I still really enjoyed it.

And AC Syndicate looks fantastic! Victorian London!? Who doesn't want that?

ACIV was the best of them IMO
And Syndicate looks great, especially the characters and gear, but I'm not gonna get it until reviews come out so I can know if I can actually play it. Unity was (and still is) so buggy that I can't play it.

III is still probably my favorite in the series through aesthetic and environment. IV greatly improved boating but something about exploring the northeastern forests really gets me. It was also the first in the series where I really followed and cared about the story, and Connor is not as bad as people often say he is.

I'm actually playing Rogue as I type this. Don't have a system to play Unity on yet.

It's a lot like III though, so I'm sure you're enjoying it!

It's pretty good so far. Surprised at the lack of multiplayer.

I see it as IV.V but in a III-like environment.

The Ezio games were my faves. I think Brotherhood is my favorite, Brotherhood would be the perfect game if it had the hook claw.

I got three a day before they were supposed to put it out, hehe.

Three bored me and I've never finished it.

Four I heard bad things about and it looked kinda eh.

I heard Unity was god awful, Rogue may have been alright, But I only played it a bit.

I really liked Revelations but it's so weighed down

And 2 was really good.

Apparently Syndicate has no form of multiplayer at all.

If you are exited about it I'll let you form your own opinions on it, it's only fair.
I was honestly kind of saddened by Syndicate's lack of multiplayer. They could have at least had the co-op stuff Unity had.

I only liked the gameplay and exploring the woods in AC3, but Connor and the story were very boring to me. Well, mostly Connor was boring. He sounded like there was no emotion in his voice and that just killed it for me. Just riding through the forest and randomly hunting animals was fun and relaxing, and the season change option was really nice.

The following games were better to me, and I'm actually glad there will be no multiplayer in Syndicate since the multiplayer in AC series was so, so boring and I was always annoyed by all the people who kept sending me party chat invites for Unity. Plus I feel like they'd hopefully focus more on making the game run better and add some new things without it.

Either way, I like the design of both Unity and Syndicate but I'm really bothered by the fact that they're using American voice actors to try mimic a British accent for the main characters. It doesn't sound like a true British accent at all to me and it just kinda throws you off. I don't know how hard could it have been to find a British voice actor...

i nag too much

Ooh that would explain why Shaun seems so much more like a douchebag in cutscenes than he does when you're just reading his database entries. He's not really a douche, he just has a crummy false accent. :L Honestly I was really surprised when I saw it was mentioned he was British when reading his entry on himself in ACIII.

With Syndicate coming out October 23, I'd suggest doing some AC catch up beforehand, unless the other games you'd like to play have recent releases coming up too.

I'm catching up with MGS for Phantom Pain rn

I have about most of the the AC games, it's just that my siblings are in my room and I can't play them as often. I really want to do some catching up, but IEEEE my family never leaves the house.

I loved III.

ACI is honestly my favorite overall, because I'm really interested in that period of history and I like the challenge.

However, when it comes to storyline alone, Rogue would probably be my favorite. The plot just makes you.....question things. It's so deep.

Actually it was pretty interesting to watch "The Movie" of the first Assassin's Creed game. I wanted to refresh myself on the story before playing Revelations, so it's good there's someone who's made the whole series into movies... anyway my point was that the first Assassin's Creed game's plot does actually have a fair bit of making you question things along with Altair, when you are actually able to follow along with the story rather than get bogged down by the repetitive gameplay.
