Happiness is running barefoot through the grass.

Happiness is waking up and you're still alive.

Happiness is laughing at the squirrels running around in the backyard.

Happiness is something You have to decide.
Whether You want to stop and enjoy the things You have in life, and be thankful for them.
Or if You rather let Yourself stay down, let Yourself be depressed. That's up to You.
Of course, we can't make ourselves feel good all the time, there will be times when we feel down about something.
But it's up to ourselves to let us be happy for the good things, or feel bad about the bad things.
