Okay, so I recently got Enigma and I have fully upgraded him. He's an excellent character, but there's one problem: his soul gem does not work. You see, I got the bottom path, but it seems that it will only work if you get the top path. But, I just wanted to know if anybody had another solution.

You have to activate his staff slam and then click his primary attack immediately on the Invisible Invader path to use the soul gem. The attack doesn't give enough time to use the soul gem so just clicking the tertiary attack and then the primary attack immediately seems to be the only way to use the soul gem. I did it before, but it is definitely harder on the bottom path.

I had to use the trigger button with the primary attack button to get it to work. Push and hold the trigger RIGHT BEFORE the primary attack button. Ps3 controls is L1 slightly before square.

Got it to work. I appreciate it @GhostRoaster617, I was really going to be bugged if I had to reset him and change his path just to get his soul gem, so thanks.

I had to use the trigger as well. It's just a timing issue.

As others have pointed out, it works better when combined with a shoulder button and the other button.

Having to use the trigger is pretty common for a lot of combo like abilities like this now. The jump button placement kind of messed up a lot of easy combo pull offs that giants and SA allowed.

It's like trying to use chop chops shield bash, you have to use the trigger these days.

I really hope in the next games they allow controller options to switch button sets. I really don't need the jump button so accessible would much rather the buttons arranged to make combos easier.

This is where having big hands makes things easy peasy...I can press both buttons witha single press. I just roll my thumb from top to left (XBOne)

Honestly its a pretty frustrating power for me so far...he needs a projectile and a high damage attack, but this attack is to cumbersome to be as useful as it needs to be.

This Soul Gem ability is almost tricky. But with enough practice, anybody could do it.

Xbox360 easy way to use the soul gem: hold X And Y at the same time. works every time for me and i have the bottom path for enigma.
