So I recently started playing the levels again to try to get 100% in each level and it was going fine until I got to Telescope Tower. I know for a fact that I did not switch and when I beat the level I didn't get the objective clear thing for not switching. So I beat it again and then I got it cleared. I thought maybe for a second early in the level I switched or something. I went on to play the next levels and the same thing happened in Mystic Mill, Secret Sewers, Wilikin Workshop, and Time Town. I still get it cleared but it's just a hassle having to do it twice. Has anyone else experienced this in their game and is there anyway to fix it?

Can you reproduce after rebooting the Wii U? I know for a fact one level has been confirmed as having this glitch, but the others are not.

yeah it happened a few days a go and just happened again yesterday when I bat Secret Sewers and Wilikin Workshop and just happened again today in Time Town

Yeah, the don't switch glitches a lot. Any level can get it. Keep trying and it will eventually work. We've gone thru the game three times now and it happens a lot.

That's just really annoying, the levels themselves aren't bad but the constant lock puzzles, skystones, people talking, and the unskippable talking parts just get annoying and are waste of times

You know, I remember one time that I switched into one or two characters in a level, and it gave me the Don't Switch. I was pretty confused, but I got over it. No need to stare a gift horse in the mouth.

It stopped for a few levels and now it's doing it in the Golden Dessert, except it's never getting completed I did it 3 different times with 3 different characters and it still isn't getting complete. Is this a glitch for everyone?

I think it is somehow related to falling off the edge of an area.

Possibly connected to the reappearing noise happening twice when you respawn on a platform.

So if I don't fall it'll work? I'll try that out

I think you can have a trap in the portal, but from what I noticed it bugs out if you use a trap that "captures" an enemy. So if you wanted to use a villain, you'd have to use one that doesn't have the same element as a trappable villain in that level.

I've done that the only trap I've been using is a Dark one with Taek Kwon Krow
