... I'd have to say no. If my mother had HIV, I'd get it too. It's probably better to be healthy in your own time period than to be seriously ill in another. It'd also be unbearable knowing I caused endless suffering to those who haven't done any wrong by me.

And being my mother, I'd be guilt tripped to hell for it.

What sre the concept and contents of the term respect all about? And what does it mean?

I find respect is more of a series of accumulative thought processes. If it is done correctly, anything that can be respected starts out at the same emotional level and an open-minded though process. Except being human, can limit, increase or even change and skip these processes to the point were the term respect is given lightly or achieved when we have slaved for those who grant us their respect. Unfortunately, biases, agendas/motives, money and power play upon the human perception of "respect."
