I just wanted to know how was the Nintendo DS version of the third Legend of Spyro game.

Although this might seem like a surprising question since the game is in 2D, fact is, the GBA version of The Eternal Night, despite being in 2D, was extremely good with a deep battle system, a longer adventure, extra difficulty modes, Metroid-style exploration, and more complex boss fights.

I was a bit skeptical at first regarding the DS version of Dawn of the Dragon but seeing a demo that shown it mostly similar (even including the wall jumping from The Eternal Night GBA), I wonder if they did it again and once more produced an very nice 2D Spyro game... or if, sadly, Dawn of the Dragon DS is actually more like A New Beginning GBA (which was not exactly fantastic).


So... in a nutshell, my question is:

Is Dawn of the Dragon DS a good game like The Eternal Night GBA or should I refrain from getting that one?

According to an honest unbiased review by DarkProwl the game sucks. You can read it at GameSpot's user reviews for the game.

Which is a shame, because A New Beginning on DS was a good game. Don't know about TEN though.

It sucked...It was really hard at some of the boss battles...

Everyone has their opinions. I thought it was a good game, but I do agree with DanishCynder; the boss battles were tough. Especially the Golem at the first try... I died almost 20 times. xD

To be honest, I've never played TEN on the DS. xD I thought you were talking about DotD, sorry I misunderstood you.
