I was confused, so I asked what he meant. He then proceeded to look pissed, and then mentioned that back in the hood, that's how they ask how is it going. So, I said that I was excellent and asked how he was, and he said he was "much better" because he got released and felt better.

I was confused.

He then showed me a large knife and said that they'll be pissed if they know.

Yeah, I said OK and left. I was sort of worried he was going to do anything. He also did shake my hand, I feel like I need to most definitely wash it for an hour.

I hate scum.

Don't get me wrong I'd dip too if someone looked angry with me for not knowing what they were saying (though in this case it's kinda easy to tell) and then showed me a knife and mentioned being released. But I don't know about scum when he otherwise acted friendly enough.

As for washing hands........did he look homeless?
