To be honest, if they're in control, they'll either use us as slaves or experiments. There's a small possibility they'd be peaceful and ally with us if they make first contact.

Given humankind's track record, if we make first contact, it's very, VERY likely we'd either declare war on them or subjugate them.

I'm afraid of vagueness

Sudden darkness (such as the lights turning off for no reason. One time, I was doing an improv class with my friends, in some trailer kind of thing, when suddenly the lights went out. It was really creepy, because one of them was telling some spooky story they were going to make a video of, and it was some thing like: "And then, in the bathroom the lights went out, and the ax wielding ghost came in..." And then the lights went out. So, yeah, not exactly helping that fear.)
