Is anyone playing on an iPad 2 with ios8?

I'm currently on 7.1 and am thinking about updating to 8.2, but I'm concerned about performance in the iPad2, since it's getting a bit old now. As it is, Lost Islands takes a long time to load and is often *very* slow to respond when 'busy' (if I try to scroll to sanctums or houses that have completed since last viewing, when airships are returning, or when it saves). I'm concerned that these delays might get even worse with a newer/fancier operating system.

Anyone here have any experiences good or bad playing Lost Islands on the iPad 2 with new software?

I'm using IOS 8 since the trap team update. I only had IOS 6 and needed to upgrade for Lost Island. My feeling is good with IOS 8.0.2.

My son has not been able to get Lost Island to load after we updated to IOS 7.5. 8 did not change anything. I have totally reset and wiped his Ipad 2 and nothing will let it load.

I'm running LI on an iPad2 with iOS 8.0.1. I've only really noticed slowness when sending and receiving kudos. As far as in general, I'm constantly getting storage notices, but I guess thats just because I'm running the 16GB iPad2. I do sometimes think the digitizer is wonky since upgrading to 8.0.1 (from 7.1) sometimes, if I have two "action bubbles" like a Alter ego house next to a toy link tower, i have to zoom all the way in to tap on both, otherwise it always taps on the one I don't want. this also seems to happen if I place two sidekick houses next to each other.

I’m playing LI on a 64GB iPad 2 running iOS 8.2. I’ve noticed a slight performance decrement with the more recent OS upgrades (more prone to jerkiness when swiping, occasional screen freezing on the order of 2-5 seconds, etc.), but nothing major.
