BJ nodded, not really sure how to respond to Cassandra's words. He couldn't see himself treating her as a friend. Yet, here he was, having made the decision to join her. He'd have to accept it. He'd certainly try. He took the blank scroll as she handed it to him. As he looked at it, imagining the lines that would soon form there, his stomach fluttered with excitement. He'd almost forgotten how much he loved charting the world around him. It had been so long since he'd done it. He nodded to Cassandra, unable to keep a wide smile from spreading across his face. "Aye, I'll do my best."

After the ship was out of the docks and far enough away the crew pulled in the ors and put them away. "Alright boys! and girl... We are off!.." She looked to patrick. "Ai lad. C'mere a moment will ye?"
"Yes, Captain" Patrick replied standing up & rushed over to put his oar away, satchel still overarm, & then rushed up the steps to the deck & to Cassandra & said "What do you require of me Captain?"

I walked over to the side of the ship "This will be difficult for me not to think of improvements" I thought before my mind drifted to Cassandra "She's been nice to me by giving me a job, If only I could think of a way to repay her kindness"
Patrick looked over & took notice to Austin & then drove his focus back to Cassandra. "Well Captain" he started off taking a gulp then continuing to speak as he fidgeted his satchel around on his arm into different positions, "My father was a pirate, a life he left behind when he married the good woman my mother was & had me & my brother raised" he said stopping for a moment as he felt the memories then continued on, "Til one bright day when we were sailing & came upon a pirate ship that my father ill-thought was a bartering ship, & they boarded our ship and...." he trailed off for a moment remembering the sight of his mother & brother being slaughtered with a cutlass, then continued slowly with the image still in his head as he spoke "Well..... my brother & mother were slaughtered before my eyes as she attempted to defend me & my brother whilst father was fighting" he said taking a breath then decided to finish off his tale quickly " Then my father rushed over but not fast enough & only managed to save me, from there he taught me the ways of a true pirate" Patrick finished, feeling the need to not go into his relationship with his Father & the things committed to him.

Cassandra frowned hearing his story. "Im sorry fer yer loss lad. But how about what yer good at. What are yer skills and tallents that will benefit me crew?" She asked
Patrick snapped back into reality & quickly replied "Anything it is you ask of me captain, i know how to work a boat & in my own opinion good at bartering. But overall whatever it is you ask of me i will do it to the best of quality possible" he replied putting hands behind his back.

Caelee, after being ignored by the captain, walked over to the side of the ship. She looked over the edge and watched the dark blue waves crash against the side of the ship. She then lifted her head and looked over at the town in the distance. She sighed and looked away.
Cassandra nodded then grabbed another blank scroll and a small bottle of ink and a quill. "Great. Ye get the job. Chancler will show ye to the treasure room. Its been a while sense we counted it. Austin. Your inovative. Go help him." She said looking around. She spotted Caelee and walker down to her. "Are ye getting homesick already las?"
Caelee looked at Cassandra. "Just a little bit," she confessed. "I've lived there for all of my life. It feels strange leaving a place I've gotten so used to."
