My upgrade paths match your choices for best except for Blackout. I went with the Winged Warrior for the damage boosts to pretty much all of his melee attacks.

What makes Prince of Darkness better?

What makes Prince of Darkness better?

It makes the secondary attack useful and he can fly. But yeah, the top path is very good. I'll change the title but both path are good.

I really hope the fifth Skylanders game brings back these four new core Skylanders as reposes.

Musical Echo
Erosion Rocky Roll
Sunny Spotlight
Nightmare Blackout

They are so awesome, especially Echo. She's my newest number one favorite Water Skylander and dragon.
