Some words that come out of my mouth sound posh, I've noticed. Also I Have that slight English sound to it.

I live in Australia but people swear I have a American accent.

Probably because I love to watch a lot of American shows.

My teacher was born and spent several years in australia before coming to the US. He's shown how he can switch between accents really easily. It's impressive. o:

I've done my best to resist the southern accent but I honestly have no idea how successful I've been.

I swear my voice sounds different to everyone who hears it.

Some say I have no accent at all, some say I have the worst Southern drawl they've ever heard.

There are accents of different states. I think it's more to do with the type of word you use, like soda vs. pop or whatever.

My family's all from Texas and England but I've been told I sound like I'm from California?????
