i just got told that the Easter Bunny Trap is being Re-called due to it "Being Faulty" so be aware i haven't got mine yet, im getting it later on today so i will be the lab monkey and test it out so if it doesn't work ill share it in the Topic

I haven't heard complaints from the people that have it in my country. But I spose they can be recalled for almost anything. Maybe the bunny isn't glued to the crystal enough or something .

The law of averages expects that some figures/traps/accessories will be defective, but not an entire line. If there's any truth that the entire line of Easter traps is being recalled, that's something else entirely.

If that was the case no one could get a figure that wasn't faulty or with plastic mistakes, it's worsening but it's far from 'going out of the window'.
Before anyone spreads rumor and panic, it's best to see first if it's really just a faulty lot of figures or a lot more than that. Those things kinda happen,it's not exclusive to the eeevul greedy Activision.

If this is true, that's absolutely ridiculous. We've gone 2 months without getting any new figures (aside from the Alter Egos), and when they finally release something new, they screw up with their production.


Seriously, Activision is really falling behind. Even Amiibo releases (with extremely limited stock) are better than this..

But the Easter Trap is a variant too...
Nothing different from a normal Upside Down Earth Trap, except for the paint.

I can only hope they still release some on the 22nd.

Since everybody's starting to panic about this... WHO told you this? Was this someone within Activision or Toys for Bob or a random retail employee? If this is a real thing and Activision fails to make any statement, this is yet another reason to start getting out the torches and pitchforks, as it just shows further disregard for their fanbase.

Law of Averages say if they've never had an entire line to be defective, then it's time. It would be their Achille's Heel if they did not address the issue. Then again, Murphy's Law has not been in play in general, so it much be Occum's Razor that it would eventually happen.

I'll keep throwing out theories until one hits. Stop.

so mines not faulty, what happened is that it shows up as just the regular Earth Handstand trap and because most people in Australia have that trap it didn't say "Earth Trap Collected" when they put it in the portal and some parents went back to the store and said it didn't work so therefore that store got them "recalled"/ taken off the shelf

So the "malfunctioning" is just the trap not showing any difference in game...?
Ok... Well, happy this "problem" got solved.

Err, well, it's kinda obvious that it wouldn't show up differently in the game. We DID have part of the game leaked via hackers, after all.

Hah, They're not gonna recall them all over that. ( and Also who cares?) . We've had figures before that don't show up as different paint jobs in game , and there's no picture on the package that advertises it should E.g. Weeruptor and pet vac have their in game different colouring sprite on the back.

Wow... "problem" solved indeed.

Can confirm the trap does work, just doesn't show up as a variant in the game.
