Don't be the person at the restaurant that complains to the manager about the food being rubbery and having them take something back because there's cheese or mayo or whatever, and making them take the check back because you don't think it right (by a dollar), this happened about an hour ago at the table next to me and the waitress serving them was behind the manager and she looked crushed , but it wasn't her fault. Don't be that person.

Some people can just be annoying.... I get that you want things a certain way and it's fine to ensure you get what you wanted, but still (not necessarily in context of this situation as I wasn't there to know for sure) it's good to not be a jerk with it.

I once had a lady come up to my stand and ask to have soda put in a bottle she'd brought. While this is fine with the current year's souvenir bottle, it's against park rules to do so for one from a good 10 years ago like the one she'd brought. Instead of kindly accepting the park policy ruled against her, she insisted she could get soda refills in the bottle for life. I tried being polite and even called over my Supervisor when she asked (who was confused why I was calling her since I'm a Lead and she'd figure I could handle it until she met the lady). Even then when my supervisor sided with me and was still polite about it, it took the lady a few minutes before angrily asking for someone higher than her. After getting the head of the Food's department down to the stand, she still refused to accept she was in the wrong and eventually just left in an angry huff claiming she was going to report us all and get all 3 of us fired.

I can be fine if you take food back because it's cold or the soda's gone flat. My problem is when you act like a ***** about it.

I work at a restaurant and I had this lady yelling at me because her food was "HORRIBLE" and she only ate it because she was "starving" but regardless she was going to go to another restaurant because she was still hungry....?? She wouldn't let me get my manager but continued to demand and complain and want her money back. She wouldn't understand that there was nothing I could do for her unless she wanted to talk to a manager. She eventually got the free meal she demanded and I'm sure she pulls this wherever she goes for free food.

Then my coworker had a table of about 15 people and having a big table alone can be rough, but they absolutely berated him. It was awful. They'd wave things in his face like he was dumb and as he'd walk away to get whatever they demanded, one of the guys would say stuff like "bet you didn't know you could get away saying that to a waiter, huh?". the guy eventually tried to start a fight with the waiter (who did nothing to provoke him) and then my manager when he came out to talk to them. The manager had to comp their entire meal because """the customer's always right""" but they still made sure to shout loud about awful service so everyone could hear on their way out. My coworker was really beat up about it but he handled it very well.

Working in customer service you learn just how many awful human beings exist out there.

Sorry for your coworker to have to put up with that. In training they told us some thing about how they understand customers can be crazy like that and despite the whole "customer's always right" thing, they will try to side with the worker for the most part. So even if the customer is putting up a fit, they'll reserve the right to kick them out for being disruptive and overall berating their employees. I may have issues with people I work with at times, but I still like where I am because they will look out for you. I have heard stories of security getting called for guests acting like that. Probably because we don't consider them "customers" to us they are "guests" in our park.

That last line is rather why I have such little faith in the human race. This has been brought up before and people may try to change my mind, but dealing with jerks like this on a daily basis has only made me realize I hate people for the most part.

If there's a problem, all you have to do is tell the other person in a calm polite manner, and i'm sure they'd be more than happy to deal with it, is that so difficult you ignorant ass?
