Here my thought on it make all variants and then only a few originals and that should solve this problem. Like say 200000 clear short cuts and only 150 original ones and so forth that would be way cool to see happen. It would be neat to be a lucky one that finds a normal instead of a variant.

If anything remotely like this happens, I will not be a happy camper. This is basically what Hasbro did with the Vision figure in the early days of the Marvel Universe line of 3.75" figures. They made the clear, "intangible" Vision the standard figure and the normal, solidly colored Vision the chase figure. As I just wanted a normal Vision to help complete out my "West Coast Avengers" team I was building, this pretty much broke me as I was not about to pay as much for a single team member as I had for every single other member combined.

As for this round of chase variants, as many as we've seen average Joes finding, I'm thinking they may have produced less variety but cranked up the total number that they're putting out, allowing more people to actually have a shot at finding them. Granted, this would mean more scalpers finding them as well, but it would certainly help to even the playing field and distribution of them.

Yes it's light, but look at the fact that there's close to 70 new characters and 40+ traps to collect...that's not enough for ya?

RIP GhostRoaster. He's reanimated as TakeYourLemons but occasionally is resurrected from the beyond when needed.

I would go for a Jade Echo, if it ever existed.

If there's already 3 known chase variants, isn't that normal? I can't remember, exactly, all the chase variants before, but weren't there only 3 chase variants for Swap Force. I was thinking there were 3 different colors, but mixed among the swappers, so you'd have to have all 3 if you wanted the colors to match.

As for having more of the variant than the regular version, then the variant would actually be the normal one, making everyone mad. Most people (especially kids) don't care about collecting everything. They just want the figure. The chase variants are for the hard core collectors and limited to add value to their collection. If there were lots of variants (clear, gold, etc.) and a limited number of normal figures, then the variants would be sitting on the shelves while the normal figure would be hard to find unless you pay outrageous amounts on eBay. This would make collectors and the regular consumer (namely kids and parents) upset. A lot of parents would probably even pass up a clear variant just because it looks like an error to them.
