Hello, and welcome. ^__^ In this topic, I have placed my story that I am currently in the process of creating. It is about a Wind Dragon named, Arie. (Pronounced: R-E) I hope you enjoy it.<.<;

Sneak peak:

Wind blew in hundreds of directions; the bellowing gusts tormenting the feeble youth, guffawing at their pain. Shivers and shudders flew off their tongues, as they huddled together in a small cave, trying to keep the only attainable heat with them…all but one. This young dragon stood right in the middle of the raging storm. Her eyes closed, concentrating on the chilling weather vibrating in her lungs, as she inhaled the luscious air. They flew and danced with her, forgetting their cruel chaotic ways, and thriving with the dragoness’s calm notions. They soon died down, tired and exhausted, blowing once more on her and whispering in worship: “O’ the Wind Dragon, Arie.”

Yes, yes, I know. Not much; but it is just supposed to give you a little bit of an idea of what the story is. It isn't a chapter.

EDIT: Oh, and yes. This is partialy done out of boredom.

One question...is Aerie a real dragon?

If you mean 'real' by she is my fan-dragon, like D_C and Asin, then yes.

PROULOUGE...

The sun had set far in the East; the last spark of sunshine was now a faint aura, diminishing behind the fertile hills of Arinour. A dragoness wearily looked up into the now night sky, the dark velvet sprinkled with glorious golden stars, and the moons of Casincadia glimmered out amoungest the brightest. A heavy sigh sounded from her mouth, breathing out the chaos of the last few years.

“Greed,” She announced. “How meddlesome it can be to the strongest of forces. How it gets to the root of our very souls, and eats up the good foundation built in our hearts. O’ how Arinour has become a victim to this virus…” Her milky blue eyes now shown with a great gleam, her tears dripping down into the soil she had once found home, but now a place of pain and ash. Picking up from the remains of her shelter, she took out her bow: The last of her treasured possessions.

She focused her grim black face at the silver dragons etched into the weapon’s soft bark, and found herself holding it up into the eerie glow of moonlight. “Ancestors,” She exclaimed respectfully, as though she would hear an answer. “I believe I have made a decision. The land you brought forth in creating is being destroyed by hate, sorrow, and death. The ancient evil is taking over, and I feel helpless waiting here to see the tragic results. As you have foreseen, thy home has been destroyed..."

Pausing for a minute, choking back more tears and sorrow, she looked breathlessly at the bow. It's beauty was imbearable. Shining like a gem she couldn't help but feel protected. A weak smile appeared on her face, her heart pounding with the moment building from the confidence now surging through her body. "I am left with the guidance, strength and courage you give to thee, and I shall use these gifts to fight for peace. A peace I owe to you till thy last breath is taken from my lungs..."

Ok...Not bad, specially for a proulouge. Sorry it was so short, little time to write. Also, I may change a little bit of it, since I was a little rushed...Awayth with thee!

Here is some information on Arie:

Appearence: A thin almost bird-like black dragoness. She has a light blue stomach, horns, claws, and tail tip. Her wings are large, blue, and feathered. On the side of her face, are three black feathers (looking almost like spikes). On her stomach are faint whispy white lines symbolizing Wind. They glow bright when she uses her wind element. She also has a set of wing-like shoulder blades she uses during battle.
Talents: Wind, Archeary, Flying, Speed
Complications: Face-to-face combat, sword play, strength.
Personality: Spirited, shy/quiet, headstrong, loyal.

"The Arie Chronichles" takes place after Malefor's fall, and the dawn of the new age Ignitus now conducts. Spyro and Cynder have perished, and remain spirit's in the dragon world, Arinour, being able to communicate with dragons both dead and alive, telepathically. The rest of the cast in the legend series have died and remain spirit's, just like Spyro and Cynder, and help "guide" them on their journey. Ignitus, well and alive, plays a big role as the new Chronichler, writing history about the dragon race, and their battles with a merciless foe.
