I like the idea if then staying limited elements. Always smaller. Like only one new core and one new gimmick each game per element for those two. On switching Sun Burn though, I gotta say no. It would confuse people why they would see a versiin of him that is fire and a version that is light. Besides, phoenixs die and are reborn in flames, not light.

I understand this, but still, we have the example of Trail Blazer's armor being golden on his figure, yet black on the packaging, card, sticker and in-game console model (it's golden/bronze, on the 3DS, for some reason.

Another, smaller mistake can be seen in Tuff Luck's upgrade icons, which shows the upgraded warblades in a totally different look, compared to the actual playable version.

I do remember some prototypes of the above Skylanders, and Short Cut definitely held his scissors in a really different way, same for Echo's painting.

This might be prototypes, but I think they are still a more advanced version of those ones.

I can see Thunderbolt's clouds having a similar effect to Cobra Cadabra's magic smoke.
Not completely transparent, but not opaque either.
