I found him to be quite strong, on his frisbee path. I especially like his catch move, where he smashes it on the ground, causing massime damages. He isn't that resistant, but his bone paws can heal him, with his Soul Gem, and they can also throw the frisbee around, down that path. He's still too fragile for my tastes, but is indeed a cool and fun character, that manages to take the "dog" concept Hot Dog's also used, and give it a very special and unique touch. ![]()

he takes a bit of getting used, I tried his non frisbee path first but started him again and I was much more impressed. His upgraded frisbee is pretty strong and passes through enemies so it's continuous use can deal out a lot of damage. I never found his bone saw to be good enough but using his paws to defend and heal you at close range and frisbee everything else , he ends up being pretty decent and relatively unique charscter.
He is a bit fragile but a lot of the new characters this year are. They seem to be sacrificing a lot of health/defense for new attack abilities this time around. E.g. Blastermind, chopper

He's way too weak and can't compete well in Nightmare mode...especially when there are multiple enemies...I chose the upgrade path that deflects the frisbees, but the actual repeated set up of the paws is time consuming and I find myself just launching the frisbee at enemies more often than not.

He's okay.
He's fun to play as and all, just, he feels kind of... uh, awkward to play as. Don't exactly know the right word, but He's just not very good in higher difficulties, |

I agree that the frisbees are pretty strong. He's decent at range and up close. The thing that stands out with Funny Bone to me is the healing. I don't think I have any other Skylanders that can heal up as well as Funny bone. If you have 3 bone paws up, they heal you for 50 HP each per tick. The bone paws also last a really long time, so you can keep retreating back to them.

That's how he feels to me as well. Using the hands and do the Frisbee throw/catch thing requires too much time to setup and use effectively for my tastes.

RIP GhostRoaster. He's reanimated as TakeYourLemons but occasionally is resurrected from the beyond when needed. |
