Do DPCI numbers change from store to store?

Hello all, I have a question about Skylanders DPCI numbers.

So I have been on a constant hunt for Kaos Traps... I have acquired the Kaos Trap Target DPCI number... so if I were to go to GameStop and give them the number, will it still be a match?

DPCI is a Target-only thing that has nothing to do with any other retailer.

So that number will only work for Target stores?

Yes, DCPI only works at Target. They are similar to SKU numbers, which are used by several other retailers and are unique to each. You can try looking it up by the UPC, which does not usually change on the item between retailers.
