Pulled 1waterworks from inventory and building the other Four. I didn't have any smiths though. But with a limit of 4, it will have to be two collections anyway. So now I have to wait for construction.

Six days to complete with a gem prize. I'm looking to have it finished much earlier.

Maxed out regular balloons and 8 airships to send everyone on adventures. I chose 3 hours so the boys will be able to "start" the quest by collecting when they get home from school. Build up my gold reserve back up by choosing cloud break for all free SF

SO...I'm holding off buying the light gateway until I can be sure. I'm sure it's just NBD, but that really got my goat that I spent 1700 gems on Rufus 15 min before they made those gateways a timed quest!

Dont worry Midas I am sure it will combine . I have no idea what to expect from this new quest . Your current quest paid out huge but the empire of ice quest was pitiful

Yep. It seemed to combine and I was able to knock out the "balloon adventure" portions of both quests. Now I just need to complete the "collect from community building" portions....

The reward for the new mission is 10 gems and 7500 gold - think that might be the same as last week's?

Decent reward I reckon, for a mission which is easy to complete with a couple of normal clears per day (assuming you're of a decent level with multiple blacksmiths/waterworks). Probably quite easily doable even if you only fired it up once a day.

10 gems more then i had before i suppose .....

10 gems that I can choose to spend any way I want are more valuable to me than a gem-cost decoration or building that I may not even want to place, so I have no complaints.

Actually, I hardly care what the reward is - I just like having timed missions to keep my interest in playing up!

I needed the gems to replenish the 25 I mistakenly spent to capture a villain when I didn't have the right kind of trap... (The true irony of that was that I had the trap waiting to be collected.)

As for replenishing fat-fingered gems: Funny how that works out, right?

I only fat-fingered once, but it was for the heap of junk on the water island so it was a big loss (this was back when the well could give you gems).

My only fat finger was buying Jolly Bumble Blast .

Mine was a lot of missed quest opportunities when I was attempting to do more than one at once. I'm usually fast to cancel when I click on the gem building collection on accident, but there's nearly not enough frames to move the finger out of the way when I clear things with the wrong skylander.

Weekly timed goals...but I didn't get one today?

The MacDonalds wages are pitiful , the Balloon trip is too far and the medical scheme is non existent . I broke a nail last week with all my tapping .

We should just marry one of these stud muffin Portal Masters who make a 100 gems in one harvest . If we divorce thats like 50 gems daily maintenance for the rest of our life . <SCORE>
