Hopefully my mind will change when the consumer preview launches next week for download.

Its really cool that Win10 is a free upgrade for the first year for 7/8/8.1 users (and is not subscription based) and launches exclusively with DirectX12...but I'm still not feeling it. Metro UI is still there, ugly, and looks like a clash of two UI's. Its really distracting to look at. That's just a little complaint.

I don't know why Microsoft hasn't done anything with the file explorer yet. Heck, why haven't they announced any under the hood system enhancements in terms of speed and less power consumption? Hell, at this point I'd say screw it. Jump off of the Windows NT framework and start from scratch. Forget the legacy programs, start over. Make a bigger jump than what windows 10 is, seemingly a service pack update. Yes, Windows 8/10 is slightly faster with performance but its nothing great. Just nothing about Windows 10 impresses me. Xbox games streaming? Nope. Cortana? Nah. Virtual desktops? Lol, had that for years by the use of third party programs or any lunch distro.

At least you can copy/paste with shortcuts in the cmdprmpt now? Lol.

There is no reason for me to jump off Windows 7. Its still being updated, and LTS is until 2019. I remember when people wouldn't jump off of XP to go to 7. There's a difference from jumping from 7 to 10 here. 10 still looks, feels, and acts like just another service pack with graphical tweaks, voice commands, and gestures.

No thanks, Microsoft. Maybe you'll catch me when it comes out, or with Windows 11.

iOS8 is pretty awful, but you can't really compare it to Windows.

i've had windows 7 for a while now, and after getting my new laptop with windows 8 a couple of weeks ago, i must say, i hate windows 8.

it's making me miss my old laptop already even though it's pretty much an old bomb. i just dislike everything about it. :(

Hell, 2000 was god tier too. But no one besides professional people in businesses got to use it. It was basically the pro version of M.E.
