Seriously, in DOTD she is obviously dark purple. What were they thinking?

She's supposed to be a black dragon and was obviously
black in ANB and TEN. So what happened here? x_X

That's gotta confuse some people, Spyro is supposed
to be the only purple dragon. (besides Malefor)

It's LIGHT black.

Um...this time i have 2 disagree the "red" in her wings look pink but she is still black you guys think that she would b jet black aka darkest black thats why you guys think shes purple i mean but in the light well duh she looks purple but put her in the dark shes black!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The characters in DotD, like the Hermit, still say Cynder is the black dragon they feared. So she's still confirmed to be black, it's just the coloring on her scales makes her look purple.

I agree with you, when me and my freind played it I said to my freind that they were the black one (because they hadn't played the new Spyro before and didn't know who Cynder was) and then they said 'What black one?' and then they said that they look more purple than black and then I said that if Cynder was black then it beats the whole point of the game because the purple Dragon is only meant to be once every 10 generations so basicly if you havn't played any TLOS game before DOTD you won't know that Cynder is meant to be black... (I think actualy its more of a dark blue)

Perhaps since now that Cynder is no longer exposed to darkness
she'll gradually lighten up to the normal Wind Dragon color.
(whatever that may be)

And people, I do /not/ think she's a purple dragon. I know she's supposed to be black, all I said was that they made her look purple. xD

She IS purple, But only special shades of Purple are the Special Kinds, Like Spyro is. Far out, Just look at Neve or any official artwork of non-evil Cynder ever made!

It's still confirmed that she's a black dragon, even the characters in the game says she's one. When they switched to a new game developer, they changed Cynder's color a little with purple.
