Sad news for us canadians!

All Targets in Canada are closing so that means no more Nitro's unless they come out in different stores now but hope they come out in other stores!

They'll come to other stores, don't worry. In the UK we don't have any targets, instead they are exclusive to tesco.

Target Canada would not begin to start turning a profit until 2021. bankruptcy was filed
All stores will be closed within 16 weeks
As hopeful as I am that each store will still get a shipment of nitro head rush it is rather unlikly

I talked to a Target employee yesterday, who said they will continue to receive merchandise from their distribution centre. However, I highly doubt that centre has any Nitro Head Rushes, or other, yet to be released figures. I also can't see Target's distribution centre receiving any new, future Skylander figures between now and the day their doors finally close. It is likely they will just liquidate the merch they already have, and not receive new stock.

And 17000 Canadians out of work. It appears their execution in Canada was flawed because of different (and more often more expensive products) and at the same time underestimating strongholds like Canadian Tire and Zellers ... buyer's habits more or less didn't fit the model of how shopping was done, and they never had product in store and if it did it was expensive.

Great, I loved target. Even though mine didn't have good stock still loved the store. It's sad for us Canadians.

I never visited a Target in Canada, but a fellow Skylander collector and forum member was kind enough to pick up a Granite Crusher for me during the Canadian release long after they were sold out at Target stores in the US.

target exclusives weren't available here in canada when target weren't here. Never got a Granite Crusher cuz we didin't have target before smilie

Not going to shed any tears over Target.

They booted out Toys for Tots several years ago and don't support Veterans or active duty(they pay lip service to the press but hassle any employee who gets deployed).
