Hi there I just purchased 2 triple packs of traps so I have a trap for each elament can I use only those eight traps to catch all of the enemies that you need to trap in the game or do I need all the traps to catch all the enemies I hope you understand what I mean. Here is a simple way to understand
for example

there are 8 enemies trappable in the life elament can I use the 1 life trap that came with the starter pack to catch all 8 enemies in the life elaments.

You can only keep one villain per trap at a time, but you CAN only have one of each, but you would have to go to your villain vault if you wanted to put a different villain inside.

So I dont need to buy all the traps that are available to capture all the Villains I can use the eight traps that I have to capture every Villain in the game.

yes but you do need 3 more because only the kaos trap can trap kaos and in trap team they introduced the light and dark elements

You really don't need the traps to defeat the villains. Once you've defeated a villain, you either place him in a trap, or he goes to the villain valut. All the traps do is allow you to play as villain you've previously defeated. As stated already, each trap can hold 1 villain at a time, and you can switch out the villain in your trap for a different villain (that you've previously defeated) from the villain vault.

I know I'm sort of repeating what others have said, but saying you 'only need 8 traps to capture all the villain, I'm not sure what you mean by 'capture'. You can play as all the villains with 8 traps, plus the extra 3, provided you take time to switch them in the villain vault. You don't any traps to defeat the villains and send them to the villain vault.

Yeah don't get more then 1trap per element . You can do everything with just 1 for each element . getting more is pretty wasteful unless your a major figure collector.

The Pokemon pc style of the villain vault is great . You really don't need to pay an extra couple hundred dollars just so you can have Easy access to all villains at the same time. You'll figure out your favourites anyway .

well I have the kaos trap as I have the dark edition on 360 and I have the standard edition on another format so all I need to get now are the dark & light expansion packs for the dark & light traps.

It doesn't have to be every single trap. You can have up to eleven different Traps, including the ultra-rare and extremely-elusive Kaos Trap. My Trap collection includes:

Magic - Skull and Hourglass
Tech - Tiki
Earth - Hourglass
Air - Toucan
Fire - Scepter
Water - Tiki, Angel, and Flying Helm
Life - Torch
Undead - Skull, Orb, and Hand
Light - Owl
Dark - Spider

It's been really nice having my traps on a 1:1...we also have a general set of 8 and playing the levels is more tedious because you need to know ahead of time which villain quest is available and make sure you preload them prior to the level...it's also cool to have a trap so you can see the actual trapping.

RIP GhostRoaster. He's reanimated as TakeYourLemons but occasionally is resurrected from the beyond when needed.

Agree on the trapping part.

Every time I got a from a new Element, I always replayed the levels the villains were in, to directly capture them, instead of simply going to the vault and loading them inside the trap.

And since I am currently replaying the game, I am still "missing Blaster" Tron, Tae Kwon Krow, Fisticuffs and the Chompy.

I do exactly the same, even if I currently have two traps only for Tech, Water, Undead and Air.
