For most, it just doesn't fit, like green Gulper, and SILVER GOLDEN QUEEN. Maybe I'm just ranting, but that's just my thought.

Yes, yes and YES.

I would also add an option to disabile every aesthetic change in the fully upgraded Skylanders.
It would be great to play again as Pop Thorn in his old "soft and puffy" days. smilie

Oh, good Eon, I thought I was the only one to hate aesthetic changes on Skylanders with a passion!

Don't get me wrong, some are cool, but having the option to keep their look like it was right out of the box, would be a great thing.

I would also like to mention Rubble Rouser, Night Shift, Bumble Blast and, for the love of anything in the Skylands, Knight Light.

Does that sword have to be so shiny...? XP

I didn't care enough about S:SF to upgrade smilie smilie and smilie. What do they look like?

Yes. It drives me nuts. A lot of them look horrible when they evolve. Pain-Yatta bothered me the most because I love when he's all multicolored. However, I now have two magic traps, so if I really want to, I can trap Evolved Pain-Yatta in one, and then go to the vault and trap him again in the other one, and I can play as the regular one.

Rubble Rouser becomes completely black, because he gets an obsidian armor.

Night Shift gets either a pair of golden boxing gloves or a shiny effect on them, both of which don't play good, with the whole Undead vampire theme.

Bumble Blast gets a different beezoka, if his bee path is chosen, but his Soul Gem also gives him a beekeeper backpack, which, in my opinion, totally ruins his look.

That's EXACTLY why I choose to buy two traps for each Elelement.

Green Gulper...? NOPE.
No other reason.

The only thing that bugs me is that I will also "have" to buy another Kaos Trap...

Nah, is more like a personal psychological issue.

I never like changes on a character, not even the small ones.

Unless I can freely customize them, like in the RPGs.

It would be nice to have the option, but I don't mind them. Though I will admit some changes don't make sense. Like Pain-Yatta turning from multicolored to just brown and orange and Wolfgang's fur completely changing color.

I get that, but there's a reason why everyone almost TOTALLY agrees that they're ugly. They're even contrary to what the character should actually be. smilie

You do realize that all the evolution quests are ways for the Villains to redeem themselves? And almost every villain 'evolved' status is a more brightly coloured/cheery paint swap? It is intended but I don't think it has anything to do with more 'cash'. We already know the cash flow is already determined by completing the collection.

I agree, which is why I usually have one trap dedicated to evolved villains, and all others for normal villains, which I plan on painting them to tell the difference,

But yes I really want to also go back on some of my villains evolutions such as Golden Queen. I also don't like Gulper being green.

And not only her!

I could mention at least other 40 characters that looked better in their non-upgraded form.

Star Strike, Hoot Loop, Grilla Drilla (even if he looks better in Trap Team), Prism Break, Eye Brawl, Drill Sergeant, Slam Bam, Wham-Shell, Wind-Up, Ghost Roaster, Knight Light, Wallop and so on.

Not terrible changes, like Rubble Rouser and Rattle Shake, but it would be great to play as their original form, without needing to reset them. smilie

Even though some of the Skylanders and Villains' palette swaps don't suit them well, they don't bother me much as long as they have gotten stronger and lengthen their timers.

Only timers change.

I don't think attacks get a boost, when a villain is evolved.

However, a "Show Upgrade Changes" button, in the stats screen would be a perfect option.
That way, people would be able to choose. smilie

^ Timers, looks and damage output change.

Golden Queen is meant to be platinum, not silver. Platinum's considered more valuable than gold.

I don't mind most of them, but Pain-Yatta's is terrible in comparison to the original, so I'd LOVE to keep the devolved look. Methinks they should have switched the standard and evolved forms for that villain.

There was still no difference that I could see. Could you please post pics? Also, I didn't notice Grilla Drilla changing, is it only on one path?

Pop Thorn gets some... Metallic cover.

You can tell something has changed by going in the Skylander's stats screen, and rotating his model to see his tail.
The tail has still the same "soft and puffy" textures, same with the wings.
The body is quite metallic.

Grilla Drilla's top and bottom Soul Gems make his armor seems extremely bright, and make the silver spiraling lines on it disappear.

Can't post pics as of now, sorry, but try to look at them again.
Maybe check some upgrading videos, to see how they change.
