Possibly,

I think it's more of a coincidence that, there's an enemy in Giants known as the "Executioner", who, teleports, wheres a hood, has a deep sounding voice, and throws an axe/sythe just like Hood Sickle, who is an medival executioner, teleports, wheres a hood, and has a deep voice smilie

Also, theres a location on the 1st or 2nd level of Giants known as "Soda Square", and another that I think was called "Soda Springs"

Annnnnddd... there's a skeleton named "T-Bone", who I believe wheres dark glasses, has a similar voice to Crossbones in STT, and theres a member of the band in STT with the same name as "T-Bone", who's also a skeleton.

Coincidence? I think not.

Yes, Hood Sickle is definitely more than a reference to the Axecutioner.
Great thought, I admit he remembered me of someone else, but would have never thought about that enemy. smilie

T-Bone is a recurring character in the TfB's games, so, no "coincidence" about that, it's actually him.

Ah, "Axecutioner", my mistake

Hmm... I didn't notice T-Bone that much, i guess that's because it's been a while since I played other games other than SSF

Yeah, he was the one to introduce you to the Undead levels, in SA
And it also appeared as a Skystone challenger, in Giants, if I remember correctly.

You also meet T bone in the dark museum level, if i remember correctly the video tests.

There's no coincidence, it's all part of the conspiracy. smilie

There is going to be similarities between new characters and old characters more and more, simply do to the fact they are running out of ideas.

Yes, on Know-it-All Island.

RIP GhostRoaster. He's reanimated as TakeYourLemons but occasionally is resurrected from the beyond when needed.

It has to be. I remember the first time going in there and being like "This is one-to-one, isn't it?!" I thought it was a very cool nod to the first game that only the older fans would remember. Are there any other areas like this that anyone can think of?

Yes, definitely my favourite element gate of all time. Let's hope they continue these in the next game, even if it's just one.
Also, nice avatar!
