I'm asking because I was concerned I stumbled upon a possible glitch in the hubworld. Even after I got an upgrade on one of my newer characters, Eon still tells me to "Go talk to Persephone to learn more about upgrades." If it matters, I first approached Persephone with an older, fully upgraded character of mine. I might just be over-reacting by assuming it's a glitch of some sort, but I want to make sure it's not a glitch.

Doesn't happen to me on my Wii U.

It used to happen with me, but I think it stops once you complete the game.

I might be wrong, but I haven't heard him tell me that lately... Have you completed the game? If not, that may be why.

It happens on my regular Wii, but only when I don't move my skylander in the Academy for 15 minutes.

Doesn't happen on my PS3 version but I am being nagged about talking to Flynn.

This happens to me on the Wii U as well.

If Eon bothers me about upgrades after i've beaten the game, I'll let you guys know. (I haven't beaten the game yet, btw)

I was just playing Trap Team -- Not a single time did I hear Eon talk, so that maybe why!

I beat the game, and he very occasionally mentions it (PS3 Version) when using a skylander that isnt fully upgraded. I didn't think much of it after dealing with Rufus for a year.

I'm on PS3. This has happened to me. But I may have skipped her intro speech---perhaps the game didn't "checkmark" that conversation somehow. Doesn't appear to happen after beating story mode. Slightly amusing, but nothing nutty.

On the plus side I've only had the game freeze on me once....whereas this happened at least 10 times or more on Swap Force.

this happens to me on my Xbox 360 sometimes. I just try to ignore it.

I played both the PS3 and PS4, and for what I remember it only froze a couple times (on the PS3).
One time I had a level-breaking glitch, while playing a Bonus Mission, on the PS4, but nothing else.

Wow, I've never had SSF freeze on me, I use PS3

It happened to me all the time, but now that I beat story mode, Eon shut his mouth real good.

PS3 is my platform. I also played the first two on PS3 and Wii.

PS3 was most problematic with Swap Force, but I also will have arguably put 10x more time into Swap Force than I will with Trap Team. I've literally got 8 stars for "difficult" and 5 arena challenges to call it quits. I just spend my time wandering aimlessly in the Kaos Challenge with Kaos to upgrade the remaining army (about half of which I never really used in the story, including minis and the variants).

Tis fun while it lasted...all two weeks of it.

Something similar happens on my Wii U version, its not with Persephone but Eon keeps saying ''Press the tag button to switch from you trapped villain to your Skylander''

TfB likes to bring back their old cast, for new games (Calim, Brock, T-Bone, Dreadbeard)...

So... It is possible the same will happen with the V.V. series (Gorm, Tessa, Whiskers, Sharpfin, RUFUS).

I agree, he CAN come back, but only if he learns to control his gibbering problem.

I don't mind Rufus, but I hate how he has to talk to you every time you power on the game and you can't skip it!

I also don't like how brock got a new voice actor, yet they reuse some of his old lines in his old voice

If for whatever reason this happens, why not go to the main menu, and lower the character voices to 0, or simply mute the TV?

Maybe in Skylanders 5, Kaos can throw Rufus of a cliff

Well, they kinda cornered them into a hole...you see. Skylanders Academy appears to be the PERMANENT home for skylanders now. Unless the beginning of the next game starts with its destruction (and all of the currently created skylanders to date...hmmm)...I don't see Rufus being involved in another hub world.

Isn't the Academy only a school for the Sidekicks, so they can learn how to become Minis?

It's a school for anyone who wants to be a Skylander according to the comics.
