I have bought the stratedgy books but they dont have the light and dark levels in does anyone know if there bringing out a new version with them in or if there is something out there that completes the expansions

I don't think they'd sell to many if they'd release a new full guide with just a couple of extra pages now . But maybe they'll release a mini guide or something to advertise the light and dark more.

I don't rely on Strategy Guidebooks to help me complete Skylanders games.

Although nothing has been announced, wild_defender is most likely correct. Last year they made a mini-guide with updated whatever (I didn't see what they could update on it, but it says updated on the cover) and it was easily found at Walmart. I would not doubt they'll do the same this year but it could take a couple months to get them in stock.

I don't REALLY think most need it, but my son loves to read em.

Yeah I only get them to read the character stats and bios. And I also think that there will be a mini guide!

The only thing new in that book was that it told you what each skylanders health was at each level. It also was missing a lot if the maps, i think to make it more steam lined and smaller and cheaper, so if you ask me it was worse then the first

My son has found a few errors in the guide as well, in addition to being non complete. Unacceptable quality, which is why I got it on the Kindle for 60% off the print version.

They are apparently going to do an online update. You will find a code and URL in the back of your guide. Last time I checked they hadn't updated it.
