So, looks like ToysRUs is teasing these two in their latest ad, which is strange, considering that Wave 3 was released recently.

I have a feeling that this will be the Thumpback issue all over again (before he was officially released, Target accidentally placed a photo of him in an ad), but who knows?

They do this all the time. I am not amused. They won't be there.

Giants was a fiasco. I don't expect a repeat of those days...both in terms of their lack of preparation and the long line/demand.

Weird. Hey, the pics look better than ones I've seen so that's good for me. I want to see them there but it probably is the issue

If those two are the only Trap Masters of Wave 4 then My predictions are becoming even more True!

Oh and I predict that Thunderbolt will be Wave 5 and will handed out at NYC Toys R Us for the Skylanders 5 Reveal.

They do look nice but it could always be pics from the website.

I got this in an email. The deal is only until Saturda, the 10th, here in the USA. So no Enigma or Short Cut.

The reason for Enigma in Wave 4 because he seemed like this years Magic Gimmick in Wave 4.

Could also be possible Toys R Us has them early. They have a tendency for that, especially with the whole Wave 2 after launch thing.

Maybe Enigma and Short Cut will come out earlier than expected, that would only leave Thunderbolt as the "Doom Stone" of Trap Team.

I'm happy and unhappy about this at the same time. I'm happy to see Enigma sooner than expected, but I'm also unhappy because then I don't know what to get for easter. I hope Echo and Flip Wreck won't come out until then.

I do really hope this means that will be out very soon. Maybe next month kinda like when Swap Force wave 4 came out.

I will die if these two are out early. I've been holding out for them xD

None have shown up on eBay yet, so I'd say that this was a screwup on their fault. Maybe Chaotic Lunacy can inform us on whether these guys are coming soon or not.

If they do come out tomorrow, that sucks for me, I have to go to a Pokemon tournament!

I'm gonna say a screw up on TRU part, or someones good with Photoshop.
Haven't received any new ones yet.
And like you said there would definitely be some on ebay already if they were gonna be out soon.

At first I believed that way too. In fact we did see a prototype of and early, but let's not forget that we never saw an early sample for , or from when I checked. By this point anything is possible and hey we may see them next month as February is the time for wave 4 I have noticed.

Like Matt said, if this was for real, we'd see them start to pop on eBay by now. I'd chalk this up to just another Thumpback false alarm scenario.

Ooh, I think people would be steamed if they did that with two characters people have been dying to play as.

I think we will be fine. We all thought would be last wave, but it was instead. I am totally seeing a similar pattern with these two as I thought we'd get sooner just like and is definitely going the same route did. Let's just hope he isn't a big letdown too.

I'm not sure about non-US releases, but standard Giants Drobot (non-lightcore) came out in wave 2-3, if I remember correctly. He was short packed (like S2 Bash) and hard to come by if you weren't specifically looking for him and there when a case got opened, but he was released long before Swap Force. The only Giants character (in the US) that was released as Swap Force came out was Lightcore Hex.

Except, in the US, that they didn't with standard Giants Drobot--only with Lightcore Hex.

Excuse me, but Lightcore Drobot and Lightcore Hex are both reposes.

Not regular characters, like Enigma and Short Cut.

I could see that happening with a palette swap, like King Cobra Cadabra, not with regular new Skylanders.

After all the complaining that happened with Lightcore Hex coming out well after Giants was over (as well as all of the looming stock that every retailer was stuck with), I have a feeling that they won't be pulling this with figures again and wouldn't sweat any characters not coming out "on time." They didn't do this with Swap Force after the Giants debacle, so I have faith that we're past that practice.
