Hey guys

So I haven't bought the game yet, and I have both a 360 and a One, is there anyone who has both? I don't whether its worth paying the extra to play on xbox one? Currently in the UK the 360 edition is under £40 while the xbox one version is 60 at the lowest.

I can say the PS4 have quite better graphics than the PS3, so, it's probably the same with the XBOX 360 and the XBOX ONE.

No other differences, as far as I know. smilie

Based on what I've seen/heard/etc, you're better off going 'One'.

There are none. essentially, they use the same code so it's just as likely to experience a glitch on the 360 than on the ONE. If anything it's less likely to experience a glitch on the ONE than the 360 as the ONE has more powerful hardware thus it can cope with more intense fights and enemies on the screen at once.

I play on the PS4 and it looks AMAZING, and the ONE would be almost identical to the PS4 so I'd definitely recommend it over the 360.

Well, the bug and glitches topic for Trap Team actually show us that the next-gen versions of the game (Wii U, XBOX ONE and PS4, especially the latter) actually are the most buggy/glitchy.

That's probably because they were phisically developed by Beenox, while TfB took care of the PS3, XBOX 360 and Wii versions.
Bennox has great potential, but apparently lacks experience, to create a game that is not only beautiful and fun, but also stable and "safe".

That being said, I have yet to encounter game breaking bugs on my PS4 copy, and yes, the graphics are truly outstanding. smilie

I never really was interested in either Xbox or PS systems, but XBOX One is definitely better. As for those who play PS games, go with PS4.

That's really surprising considering the amount of extra power that the next gen consoles have.

I didn't think it's a matter of console power.

I think it's a matter of developers experience.

They are not mature yet, to deal with a game this big.

This - face facts, Trap Team doesn't push graphic boundaries anyway, the most graphically intense moments in Trap Team don't introduce a lot of things on screen. With that said, I've only encountered a few bugs on the One, and absolutely none of them were an actual 'issue', the one a couple days ago was the worst, on the clock level, plaqying 2 player, I got stuck in the air, eventually I just took my character off the portal, put it back on, and everything was fine *shrug*.

I had this very question, and you really cannot find direct comparisons. So, I did it myself (we got an XBox One for Christmas), but we had Swap Force on WiiU and I have a copy of Trap Team for WiiU to test out (we got the WiiU Dark, but then after getting the XBox One for Christmas I got TT for it on Walmart's BF sale).

The WiiU is similar to XBox 360 quality, maybe even a little better from my experience. So I went about hooking the portals up to both systems on different HDMI inputs on the same TV, and let me tell you - the differences are stunning. And I'm not a superficial, graphics are everything kind of guy. The resolution is significantly better and it runs at a smoother framerate. If XB1 or PS4 is an option for you, that is a clear choice on Trap Team (but not a system seller reason).

And Trap Team is no more buggy than previous editions, I've had SSA and Giants on the 360, Swap Force on WiiU and now TT on XB1. There are minor glitches in ALL of them, with SSA probably being the worst (fell through the world several times and there are a few game breaking bugs and ways to end up where you cannot progress). All things told, Swap Force is probably the most "stable" - but not by a wide margin.

This might be a gamebreaker for some people, but the Xbox One version has no way to turn off controller vibration in the options menu. I found this out the hard way after buying it from GameStop. I'm hoping Microsoft comes out with a patch soon to turn off controller vibration globally.

Slow down and flicker... I thought those days were gone with the N64 and Genesis?

I guess the developers wanted us to feel nostalgic. LOL
