A bunch of my decorations and a few houses are gone, but I didn't get my money back. Any thoughts or tips?

Did you explore a friends kingdom ? If the answer is yes then consider yourself lucky as most people lose everything.

You can get them back sometimes. if your android try flushing the data and cache. Then open it back up.
if it still doesn't show up try uninstall and re install.
