"Before the giants, before Mt. cloudbreak, there were eight powerful creature The Elementals the creatures that created the elements and cloudcracker prison but were banished to another dimension by an evil power and now the same ancient evil has returned to wreak havoc in skylands once more, the king of the dead, the dragon Malefore! but luckily the ancient elementals have returned to stop this menace and have brought a wonderous new creation: Mega gems!

This is my first time doing this kind of thing so tell me if you like this idea

The gimmick

The Elementals:
Core-sized figures with immense power there is one for each of the original 8 elements
What do they do? not only are they insanely powerful, but also their figures can speak and articulateable on the base and they also light up
their moveset changes on changing their stance (like pose b gives them a hadouken like attack?)

Hero Core

Hero core figures are like regular skylanders but are brand new from the ground-up remakes of characters
What do they do? they are old fan-favorite skylanders but have brand new movesets and gameplay handles completely different
they can also open Hero-Chests and Hero-Gates but can also perform Hero-Feats

Mega Gems

These stones are able to temporalily turn any skylander from the previous games into a Mega Skylander
these look like an elemental symbol on the corresponding element's base, say if you put a magic one on the portal with say a series one Spyro
and push a certain button it turns him into a Mega Skylander for 5-10 minutes you get to be a Mega longer depending on your level e.g. lvl. 20 gives you 15 minutes lvl. 1 gives you 40 seconds

Elementals, gems shaped like the elements, this sounds A LOT like my idea only that I have two of each element...
