I get the feeling hardly anyone knows me. Like hardly anyone notices me or anything. Am I all alone on this? I just feel like I'm nothing right now.

Look, there is such a huge amount of active users on this forum that it would be stupid to take it personally if the majority don't know you. That's pretty much it. You're just looking at this from the wrong perspective.

Instead ask yourself: "Why would they know me?" What have you done to establish your personality to other darkSpyro users? What sets you apart from the rest, so that it would be possible for others to remember you as "you" and not just a part of the crowd?
If you can't give me a good answer, you can probably already tell what the problem here is.

If you want some pointers, I can give you some, but you have to remember that you reap what you sow. You can't expect people to care about what you say if there's nothing of interest in what you say. You have to put effort into it.
Also, it's not like popular users get attention all the time either. I'm probably one of the most well known users on this site myself, and my posts get ignored all the time.
I mean, I understand that you need to get a few replies every now and then to keep things interesting, and to not feel like you're talking to a wall, but you gotta remain objective despite that.

I'm the same, I just embrace it and use it as a joke most of the time!

To be honest, I don't know you or many other newer users either, so I'm fine with people not knowing who I am.

These. I'd say get more involved with the forums and talk to a lot more people. If you don't do it now and keep that at a steady pace, you'll start to be ignored like you feel right now. I don't get involved with much else on these forums besides the non-Spyro section, and probably not a whole lot of people know me(at least, judging from what people told me in a "what do you think of me" topic i made a couple months ago) since i don't get into that many conversations, yet i've been a dedicated user on dS for almost 4 1/2 years.

You also kinda have to keep in mind that you could very well be more noticed in other sections. DarkSpyro is kind of disconnected in a way; if you go to the Skylanders sections and then go here it's like a completely different site. People over there wouldn't know me (unless they're older users and remember everyone because I barely said anything interesting over there to leave a lasting impression) but if you go here and ask around people would be like, "yeah I know Baro." Consider where you post the most, because that can also have a lot to do with it.



This. If I went to the Skylanders section and made this topic, they'd all be like "who da hell are u" because I never go there, but mainly anywhere else on the site I'm quite well known for making the strangest/dumbest topics that could ever be made. Post more and you'll build a reputation

My advice is just to not troll or insult people, and simply enjoy yourself. I guarantee you, there will be some users here that don't like you no matter what you do, but as long as you know you're not doing anything wrong, then don't worry about it.
