Toys R Us actually sells it too now for $44.99, however I'm waiting for Target.com to restock so I can use my gift cards. We'll just have to wait and see!

I see them all the time. I figured they weren't selling well because of the price. It may make them cheaper per trap at regular price, but only by $1 a piece. It's a lot easier to swallow $6 at a time than $40 at once. Plus sales make single traps the same or cheaper. The only advantage is the variant Broccoli Guy, but most kids/parents don't care about it that much.

They were selling like hot cakes right before Christmas. I went to TRU at midnight the day of the light/dark release and saw several pegs filled with the 8 pack of traps. The next day (technically the same day) at 5 pm, one was still left on the pegs. I was surprised they were moving so quickly given TRU was charging $45 for them...it was like pre-holiday armed robbery where TRU made out like bandits. I would imagine they're shelf warmers for the stores that still have them.

My Best Buy and Walmarts have tons of Wave 1 traps so they aren't gone gone gone yet.

My local stores only have wave 1 traps.
I can never find a wave 2 or 3 trap. However, i only found 1.

my target is HAS WAY TOO Much wave 1 the only non wave 1 figure is hog wild fryno but gamestop has wave 3 and Fred Myer has wave 1-2 i will never go to that target again

For those actually running around chasing all the traps, it's best to be aggressive and get them by any means necessary when they are first released. Some traps are likely to be very rare to latecomers who decide to chase after them all. That being said, I think less than 10% of people playing the game are wasting money by chasing after them all. Most people are content with one of each element and maybe going after the villain variants. I would venture a guess that 30% of people playing this game are on a very strict budget or are passive fans to the point of just going with what is in the starter pack as far as traps are concerned.

Different rules apply to TRU, but this is what I know:

When Trap Team came out, Activision was selling the two types of trap triple packs. Around the time Wave 2 started, they discontinued the SKU for the triple packs (meaning retailers couldn't order them anymore), and started selling the 8 packs instead. Last week, Activision told me that they had discontinued the SKU for the 8 packs and wouldn't sell those to me anymore.

Now, as I said, different rules may apply to TRU and the big retail stores. However, to me it appears that the trap multi-packs are a limited edition deal that are not going to be continuously sold. My advice is to pick them up as soon as you can when they are available.

The 3 pack traps I believe are going away.

I work at store that sells SKylanders are when i scanned to check for stock we have zero and was a product we would not be carrying anymore.

8 packs are everywere were i live

i found it at TRU, but i already bought it on ebay, so..... no.

They used to be very common here in Michigan but I barely see it anywhere anymore

Just about all my stores, but no wave 3 other than Cobra Cadabara & Trail Blazer, with periodic sightings of Ka-Boom & Blastermind.
Hope High Five (I already have) & Bat Spin show up in stores soon.
